Terms of service

1. The service

Vision Direct reads your organisation’s accounting records from Xero, with your permission, and presents them as a board report. It is provided by EdgPro Limited. By creating an account you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation, and confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. What the report is — and is not

The report is produced automatically from the records in your Xero organisation. It is not reviewed by an accountant and is not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. We check each month’s figures against Xero’s own and tell you when something does not agree, but the accuracy of the report depends on the accuracy of your Xero records. Decisions you make using the report are your own.

3. Your Xero connection

You choose which Xero organisation to connect, on Xero’s own screen. Our access is read-only. An owner can disconnect at any time in Settings, and you can also remove the connection from within Xero.

4. Your account

Keep your email account and Xero login secure — they are how you sign in. Owners decide who else can see their organisation’s companies and can remove people at any time. Tell us promptly at support@edgpro.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable use

Connect only organisations you are authorised to connect. Do not attempt to access another organisation’s data, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.

6. Data

Your organisation owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms and includes our commitments as your processor. You can delete a company or your whole organisation in Settings.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change the service or these terms; we will give account owners notice of material changes, and you may stop using the service at any time.
